Let’s be real: saying “Thaisa proves how jealous she is” is one of the dumbest takes ever. Thaisa isn’t jealous — she is a legend of volleyball.
Thaisa has three Olympic medals — two golds and one bronze — and she’s one of the most accomplished middle blockers in history. She helped Brazil win bronze over Turkey at the Paris 2024 Olympics, scoring big in that match.
Meanwhile, the Turkish team has never won an Olympic medal in women’s volleyball. Brazil denied them their first Olympic podium by beating Turkey 3–1 in the bronze medal match.
And Ebrar Karakurt? Let’s be honest: she doesn’t have Olympic medals like Thaísa does and hasn’t built a legendary career. She gets attention on social media, sure — but that doesn’t make her great. She wasn’t the difference against Brazil in Paris, and the team she plays for still hasn’t gotten Olympic hardware.
Thaisa’s legacy is on another level — she’s bigger than most national teams, bigger than a lot of players out there, and her medal count alone puts her above the entire Turkish team’s best results. Brazil keeps topping the all-time Olympic medal table in women’s volleyball; Turkey still hasn’t even gotten on that podium.
So for anyone pushing that nonsense:
