In the first game of 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship for team Poland, they took a 3:0 win over Bulgaria. Poland played an amazing game and showed crazy volleyball in front of the full stadium of polish fans in Katowice. The best scorers for Poland were Kamil Semeniuk (16 points) and Bartosz Kurek (13 points). Semeniuk scored 4 ace serves in a row during that game.

Poland played Argentina in a friendly game in Spodek, Katowice as a last sparing game before 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship. They played 4 sets, so it was a perfect opportunity to train before all the important matches in the Championships. The best scorers were Łukasz Kaczmarek (14 points), Kamil Semeniuk (13 points) and Bartosz Kurek (12 points).

Wilfredo León had a problem with his knee tendon, so his long recovery led him to miss the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship. Polish outside hitter came back to Perugia and started a preseason trainings before the 2022-2023 Italian Superlega. You can see, that he can easly jump, attack and serve the ball. We all keep fingers crossed for Leon to comeback to his amazing sports form.

Erik Shoji had a horrible looking moment in the 2021 - 2022 Champions League final game between Itas Trentino and Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. It looked, like he had some bad injury, but it was just a muscle cramp.

Michał Kubiak (クビアク ミハウ) scored 520 points for Panasonic Panthers in Japan V League 2021 - 2022. He had 42 blocks, 28 ace serves and 450 point attacks. His team scored the 3rd place in 2021 - 2022 season but Kubiak signed a new contract with Panasonic Panthers and will stay in Japan for the next season. He also retired from the Poland National Volleyball Team and won't play in the national season anymore.

Kamil Semeniuk played his last game for Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle as he’s leaving to Sir Safety Conad Perugia. He’s last game was 2021 - 2022 Champions League Final against Itas Trentino. Semeniuk scored 27 points, had 26 point attacks and 1 block. He’s got chosen the MVP of that final tournament.

Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn-Koźle came back to Poland after winning 2021 - 2022 Champions League. All fans started to welcome them, starting at the Airport and on the way to Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Players didn't forget about Norbert Huber, who had to stay in Poland due to his injury and gave him a gold medal too.

Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle won 2021 - 2022 Champions League Final against Trentino Volley. It was a quick 3:0 win, where ZAKSA showed the best volleyball in the world and proved, they are the best club team. They defended the champions league gold medal 2nd year in a row. It was also a special game for Kamil Semeniuk. He won everything with ZAKSA this year and is leaving to Sir Safety Conad Perugia for 2022 - 2023 Italian Superlega. In this game, he scored 27 points and was the best player of his team.

Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle won the gold medal of 2021 - 2022 Plusliga. They won finals against Jastrzębski Węgiel and once again become the Champions of Poland. The season is not finished for them, as they will face Trentino Volley in Champions League 2021 - 2022 final.

Norbert Huber got a horrible looking leg injury in the 3rd game between Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Jastrzębski Węgiel in the Plusliga 2021 - 2022 final. It is a really bad, especially for the Poland national volleyball team, as Norbert is one of the best middle blockers right now. Let's hope it's nothing serious and he will be fine as soon as possible.

In the last set of the 3rd game of Plusliga 2021 - 2022 between PGE Skra Bełchatów and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie for the 3rd place, Uroš Kovačević got a bad looking leg injury. Uros had to go on a bench and didn't play till the end of the game. Hopefully, he will be alright and ready for the next game.

Tomasz Fornal scored 22 points in 2nd Final game between Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Jastrzębski Węgiel in Plusliga 2021 - 2022. He had 2 ace serves and 1 block. Unfortunately for Jastrzębski Węgiel, they lost 2:3 after amazing game and will try in the next final game to defend the title of the polish volleyball league champions.

Bartosz Kurek (バルトシュ・クレック, クレクバルトシュ) played 2nd season in a row in Japan V League team - Wolfdogs Nagoya. Kurek scored 915 points in the whole season, had 814 attack points, 61 blocks and 40 ace serves. Unfortunately his team didn't win the championship and had to give it to Suntory Sunbirds. Now, Bartosz will be preparing for the national team season with the National Team of Poland.

Mateusz Bieniek got a rib injury in quarterfinal game between PGE Skra Bełchatów and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in 2021 - 2022 Plusliga. It looked horrible, but now Bieniek is playing for the 3rd place in the polish volleyball league against Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and he's looking extremely well.

TJ DeFalco scored 24 points in his last game in Indykpol AZS Olsztyn shirt. It was a Plusliga 2021 - 2022 game for the 5th place. Olsztyn won the game 3:1 over Asseco Resovia Rzeszów but they lost the golden set and finished the polish volleyball league on 6th place. DeFalco had 1 ace serve and 23 point attacks. The great aspect of that lose for Torey is that he will play in Asseco Resovia Rzeszów next season so he lost with his future employer.

Facundo Conte played an amazing game against Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle in the first Plusliga 2021 - 2022 semifinal. Conte scored 23 points, had 1 ace serve and 2 blocks. His team - Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie won 3:1 over ZAKSA and is on the great way for the polish volleyball league final.

Masahiro Sekita (関田 誠大) played his 2021 - 2022 league season in polish Plusliga team - Cuprum Lubin. He played 25 games and scored 16 points in total. Sekita had 10 ace serves and 3 blocks. His setting was very fast and precise and it helped his team to win games in the league against teams like ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. It was nice to see him playing for Cuprum Lubin, like his friend from Japan volleyball team - Masahiro Yanagida couple years ago. I'm not sure if he will stay in Plusliga for the next season, but it will be known soon.

Aleksander Śliwka scored 297 points for Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle in regular season of 2021 - 2022 Plusliga. He had 28 ace serves and 21 blocks. Left handed polish player is an important player for ZAKSA, as he has his own unique style of playing. He helped his team to qualify to the Champions League 2021-2022 Final and to the semifinals of polish volleyball league. Zaksa will head Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie in Plusliga semis.
