24-year-old US American Timothy McIntosh will defend the balls for the HYPO TIROL volleyball team next season. McIntosh is in the extended squad of the US national team and impresses with its agility and speed.
Head coach Stefan Chrtiansky comments on the new commitment: "I think we will have a lot of fun with Timothy. He moves almost similarly to the toplibero Erik Shoji, who played in Innsbruck in the 2013/2014 season and who then made it to the Russian top club Novosibirsk via the Berlin Recycling Volleys. Timothy still has the potential to make the big leap."
