Campeonato Paulista was their debut stage in Brazil. Although fantastic duo showed great combination plays, SESI-SP was defeated by Funvic Taubaté in the Finals after playing golden set.

Bruno was born to former volleyball players Bernardinho and Vera Mossa. Bruno's parents divorced when he was a child, and his father remarried to former volleyball player Fernanda Venturini in 1999. Bruno has a half sister Julia.
