Brazilian Bruno Rezende & Lucas Saatkamp is well-known 'soul mate'. Bruno & Lucão who played in Modena moved to SESI-SP together before the 2016-17 season. Campeonato Paulista was their debut stage in Brazil. Although fantastic duo showed great combination plays, SESI-SP was defeated by Funvic Taubaté in the Finals after playing golden set.

Bruno was born to former volleyball players Bernardinho and Vera Mossa. Bruno's parents divorced when he was a child, and his father remarried to former volleyball player Fernanda Venturini in 1999. Bruno has a half sister Julia.
