That was the first game between Bulgaria and Germany in EuroVolley 2015. The hosts won that battle easily in three sets. Bulgaria’s charismatic captain Vladimir Nikolov was the best scorer of the game with 14 points. His teammate Todor Aleksiev added 11. Marcus Böhme was the best player for Germany with eight points.

During the ceremony of the World League game volleyball between Belgium and The Netherlands, the singer of the National Anthem of Belgium completely blacked out. She forgot the lyrics and the song! :) Netherlands won against Red Dragons 3:0 (25:23, 25:22, 25:17). A hero for the Oranje was Niels Klapwijk, who led the team in attack, scoring 15 points. Jelte Maan remains the best server, scoring 3 aces for the Dutch. This was the last match for the Netherlands with Belgium already through to the Final Four of the Group 2, which will take place in Varna, Bulgaria next weekend.

After a bad start, Poland successfully regained their memory and recovered from the previous loss against USA to overcome Italy 3:1 (19:25, 25:18, 25:20, 26:24). While the host squad still place high in Group E, the Azzurri were ruled out of the competition.

3000 Precura Antwerpen fans vs. 2000 Skra Bełchatów fans. Who was better in your opinion? It was really fabulous night in Antwerpen. The atmosphere in "Lotto Arena" was stunning. It was real volleyball show. We just want to convey part of the atmosphere from "Lotto Arena". The hosts could stand the pressure and pose a real threat to their opponents only in the first set but they eventually ended up losing the match by 1:3 (25:22, 14:25, 20:25, 19:25). This way Skra further cemented their leadership in the group and can already look forward to the Drawing of Lots for the Play-off round coming up on January 29 in Luxembourg.

More than 62,000 spectators attended the match against Serbia, with the majority decked from head to toe in Poland’s national colours, red and white. The previous record for volleyball attendance was 50,000 at the 1952 World Championships. "Tonight’s celebrations in the National Stadium in Warsaw have set the new benchmark for volleyball events. We have entered a new era of sport entertainment and innovation never reached before", FIVB President Ary Graça said following the spectacular event. Polish NT beat Serbia in three sets (25:19, 25:18, 25:18). Polish captain Michał Winiarski was top scorer of the opening match, with 14 points, closely followed by Mariusz Wlazły (12) and Mateusz Mika (11). From Serbia's side, Aleksandar Atanasijevic scored 11 points, followed by Srecko Liniac, who had 8 points.

Every time, when men Polish national team play there Spodek is full (there are over 12000 seats). Most important matches in history of Polish volleyball was playing there.
