Diaz played in the second half of that match (he replaced Hierrezuelo in the third set) and he scored 3 points. 28 years old Diaz has been excluded together with Wilfredo Leon from the Cuban national team on 27 April 2013, because they were looking for playing outside of Cuba. They can't play volleyball for two years now. Diaz scored silver in World Champs 2010 and bronze od World League 2012. After defeats of Cuban NT in World League 2013 Cuban media called their governments to change policy.
