I know this isn't part of the thread, but a friend of mine is going to be in Rome for 5 days and he is going to try and get me a trentino jersey. does anyone know where he might be able to get one? If he ordered online how long would you figure it would take to be delivered to Rome. Also is there any other jerseys (volleyball) that could be bought from rome? just in case the trentino one doesn't happen.

HCLT- I was thinking it was some time in june. Maybe I'm thinking of the 3 qualifiers in Europe (clarify for me when they are ?). Does anyone know whats going on with Cuban NT? simon, etc..

I agree with some of the comments about canada being a possible team in the olympics. In the qualifying match for world cup, Canada lost to cuba in 5 sets in the semifinal. Leon got set like every second ball in the 5th and Canada just couldn't contain him. I think with the experience that a lot of the players are getting playing oversees will be a big difference this year along with the world league coming up against poland, brazil and finland. I think Russia will win it all unless a team can shut down the quick right side set of mikhaylov.

I thought this was very funny when it happened. I love doing this move when playing. No one expects you to jump up and hammer it down.

If you can get a middle to be late on a set. you've done your job. Yeah maybe nobody fell like grankin in Cuba vs Russia, but it got the point. Imagine what would have happened if the MB stepped on the setters foot. no block.

I love making sets like those. Usually you get no block.

@ NXT. I am in now way defend Giovi. He should have know that's an almost impossible ball to return and not interfere. Roman Yakovlev hit the ball like 2 inches above the tape. if vlado was standing he could probably block him. I think Mauro Berruto was following the ball. you can see that he is looking up and reassuring himself that it is clearly out. sometimes in tight games like that, players tend to really follow the ball out. however the libero didn't have to follow the ball. he was in the middle of the court when fei hit the ball and as a libero you should know the dimensions of the court fairly well, so it was unnecessary for him to block the American players. I however have done this before. I've pretended like i was going for a ball i knew was out only to move my hands out of the way in the very last second. just to be an ass :P. plus how likely was it that they would get the ball back over? if anything Italy would get a free ball they could destroy at the Americans :)

First you need a good pass. If you mess up then you look like an idiot. it's better to play safe then make careless mistakes. unless your up by a lot. I wouldn't want to give Brazil any momentum from a hitting error.
