Skra Bełchatów Promotes Volleyball in London

Promoting volley in England, making closer the Polish-British friendship and to present in front of the Polish-American audiences - are the main reasons of the tournament called the London Legacy Volleyball Cup, which will take place on 12-13 September with the participation of PGE Skra.

It will be the biggest volleyball event in England. The first such competition at the London ground will take place in comprised six thousand spectators, the Olympic Copper Box hall. The formula assumes competitions English teams compete with the top teams in Europe. The two-day game will be in with the division into female and male rivalry. The ladies tournament play: champions of France - RC Cannes, Schweriner SC and English Team Northumbria and London Polonia SideOut. At the start of the competition in addition to PGE Skra become our affiliate clubs CBL Polonia London, VfB Friedrichshafen and Team Northumbria. - We received an invitation from the English Federation of Volleyball and we could not refuse. We act as an agent there is more Polish than Belchatow - says specifically for skra.tv vice president Grzegorz Stawinoga. Polish-English friendship was born two years ago during the volleyball Weekend Force, which was part of the Third National Rally Supporters PGE Skra Belchatow. One of the agenda of this event was an exhibition match played between bełchatowianami and London Polonia CBL team. Since then, both clubs have established close cooperation. In September the "Polish" teams meet again, this time in London. The intention of the competition is to popularize volleyball in England and to strengthen Polish-British cooperation and is an excellent element of the preparations for the new season. The tournament opens SideOut London Polonia meeting with SideOut London Polonia and Schweriner SC, then on the floor come the teams Team Northumbria and VfB Friedrichshafen. In the evening session champions France, RC Cannes will play with Team Northumbria, and in the match after CBL London Polonia take Skream PGE Bełchatów. The second day of competition will be marked by derbies England. In the afternoon session the teams will meet RC Cannes and Schweriner SC, and closing tournament match PGE Skra Belchatow play with VfB Friedrichshafen.
