Michal Masny (born 14 August 1979) - is a Slovakian setter and player of national team since 2003. He will play for Polish Jastrzębski Węgiel in next season.

In the European Championship 2003 in Germany, Slovakia lead by Masny took 12th place. He signed contract with Hypo Tirol Innsbruck before EuroVolley 2003. He played there in 2002-2003. His team took 2nd place in Austrian League. After one season spent in Austria he moved to Czech Republic. He spent 3 years there. He won Czech Champion title in seasons 2003/04 and 2004/05. In Czech league he played for such teams like: Odolena Voda, Kladno, VK Ferram Opava. He was also the best setter of Czech league in that seasons. After spending three seasons in Czech Republic, he signed contract with Płomień Sosnowiec.
He became very popular in Poland during his first season in Plusliga. He was revelation of that tournament, such as his team Płomień Sosnowiec, which was named a black horse of Plusliga then. After amazing season, he signed contract in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, which was stronger than Płomień Sosnowiec (mainly financially). He played there in 2008-2010. Michal Masny won also award "Best setter" in the European League 2011. Slovakia became the first team in the history of the CEV Volleyball European League to win it twice. In spectacular final match in Kosice, the home guys made their fans extremely happy defeating Spain 3:2. "Our second title from the European League is very special, because we won it in front of the home crowd - added Michal Masny after the game. In the next seasons he moved to another Polish team: Delecta Bydgoszcz. His team in season 2011/12 took 5th place. In the next season, Delecta qualified for the first time in the history
to 4 the best team of Polish league. Michal Masny said: "There isn't any phenonemon. We play practically third season in the same composition, only little changes have occurred".
