Yep...really thriller. But in my opinion we was a little bit better in this game. But it's obvious i lost a lot of my vitality (really stresfull game)?
The quotation oh the day:
"He went like a boat in acorns"
In such a way, Krzysztof Ignaczak described the fantastic defence made by Michal Kubiak in the 4-th set.
Brazil's in a really bad shape,1st set they looked stoned...Rachel said they needed luck in this tournament, but I honestly didn't think Italy will beat them.Congrats,Italy!Congrats,Poland - undefeated !
I second zver's opinion about Serbia's dependency on Ivan's good shape.
Wow,great 3rd set for Russia, congratulations ? Stanley's aces,Maxim's great attacks,Russia's block, some great digs - what more could you ask for? ? Alekno and Apalikov know Priddy VERY well ?
Zagumny is way better, but Zygadlo isn't that bad as somebody says. I think they just don't like him and don't judge him fair, but the truth is that he won't play as good as Zagumny.
Poland made better results withoung being better in World League 2011 and ECH 2011, which means that Poland was classier. Big country, strong championship, a lot of money, invested in volleyball logically can give better results than our "something out from noghting" tries. All this adds to the players confidence, which lack in our team. That doesn't mean that we are weak, we have better opposites than Poland, also strong MB's, Kaziyski has no rivals. All of this compensates for the better defense and setting of Poland. The difference seems tiny, but it is a result from large amount of conditions and efforts, including money
@qwertyuiop12345 "I know its hard to accept that Poland without key players make better results than Bulgaria, buc cman." Where did that came from? A compliment from a Bulgarian user to a Polish player? You,come on...
@raylight
Take it easy. I don't agree with him. Bulgaria is also a very good team, but this year You don't acheve a lot- it's only sport. And opposites who play in Polish team aren't that good as Bulgarian, but not everybody plays... but it were said a lot about the one and we better don't back to that ?
I didn't like Zygadlo cause he is always a bench player and doesn't have an ambition for playing in some team starting six. He played terribly in WL this year that is why everyone complained about him, cause he was always a starting player but no one knew why. Every match was a disaster. But at ECH it changed very much cause to my surprise he started to be accurate and foremost he was 'setting' a ball in full meaning of this word.
Congratulations to Russian National Team. Our guys were the BEST!!! Beeing losing 3-d set 23-18 they have won it! Fantastic!!! USA team was good, but Alehno has analysed their manner to play carefully and succeded. Our defense was surprisingly good (thanks to Tetyuhin and Budko) and there played THE TEAM, not just players. Hope to beat Brasil the day after tomorrow, though their team is amazing. We believe in our guy! Come on, qualify for Olimpics now. And good luck!
Someone, I don't have troubles to acknowledge that Poland have better setters, better defense system, the players are more complete ? I think we should learn from you for what we lack

I have something out discussion below...We beat Argentina 16-th time in a row (18-th time with non official games) so I'm very happy. They have a really good team, but (now is important part) TOO YOUNG for our NT. Let's me explain: They lost 3-rd and 4-th set in last balls. Why? Because they have young and unexperienced team. We have young players too, but they play in more competitions, stronger league (or more seasons in strong league) and this was decisive. I see in our guys eyes something good, they need big succes now and they are on good path to get this.
P.S. I know that this is a beggining of tournament but only two teams are undefeated and leading in table now (Russia & Poland) - I mean that two teams are qualify with "wild cards"...so now is the question: Both teams deserved for it? Don't answer - it's retoric question?
And why not 3 ? Italy is showing teeth as well ? It's not impossible but in the other hand - Brazil without a medal is a very difficult task ? My guess is 1.RUS 2.BRA 3.POL
kapitan_bomba - THIS Poland deserves it, but this is Poland in full squad. The Poland which played WL and ECH and got the wild card is disputable if it deserves that. For sure Polish fans deserve to watch their team, their support built Poland successes ?
yep its true - 2 brozne medals withou showing a special game during tournament, but in decision games they showed perfect level (against Argentina in WL, and Russia in EC)...Moreover they won EC 2 years ago and then was a year without WC
I still haven't understood whether I'm happier or more astonished by today's result of our guys ? I mean, when i read the score i couldn't believe my eyes. Italy hasn't won over Brazil since 2003!! OMG!! Can't wait to see the match.
As regards the Wild Cards: I just wanted to emphasize the fact that Women World Cup was won by Italy who got there with a wild card ?
Wild card to Poland was given before NT season, so they didn't know if it is deserved ? That said, I am happy that Poland is in WC and have the chance to qualify for the Olympics, it is good because of the volleyball fans who drive not only Polish volleyball, it is good for Bulgaria too ?
I don't think that qualification is easier by World Cup. Look at the teams, that are playing now in qualification tournaments in Europe (for Example): Portugal, Ukraine...
Qualify by WC is very difficult...14 days, 11 games - to be honest is the toughest tournament to qualify. But WC is something like award for be the best 3 teams in the world (at the moment) and for the best "trio" OG are like a gift...
P.S.
kapitan_bomba, i've only another rhetoric question to add: ...and where are the serbians aka the champions?!)
@someone, these aren't qualification tournament, but PREqualification tournament. If you win a preq tournament you don't got a pass for the OG, but a pass for the europeam qualification tournament for the OG (Bulgaria is already qualificated as host)! I agree that the WC is really tough, ma don't undervalue the qualification to the OG. Imaging having Poland, Russia, Serbia, Italy fighting for only one place... I won't call it easy as well...
Guys, since I couldn't add yesterday's matches here last night,I uploaded them on different host sites and here are the links in case you haven't watched them yet :
