Kunihiro Shimizu scored 14 points and Japan needed all five sets to defeat Egypt 3:2 (25:19, 23:25, 25:18, 17:25, 15:7) in the final match on day one of the World Cup 2015 in Hiroshima. He said: "In the first set we had good serves and did well. When we didn't have them, we lost. If we correct this it will be much easier for us".
