New player of Polish Champion in the action! He signed a contract for one season but it is possible that it will be stay on next season. In season 2011/12 he played against Resovia in the final matches of the CEV Cup. Peter is considered one of the best players in his position. This is a player with a very good attack, block and serve, with a good reception. With Aleh Akhrem can become the best pair of receiving in Polish Plusliga 2013/14. Veres was close to Plusliga in the past years. Coach Ljubo Travica wanted him in his team but he chose to stay in the Russian Superliga. He spent the last three seasons in Dynamo Moscow. Hungarian player said: "It was two years ago. Ljubo Travica encouraged me very strongly to play in the Plus Liga. To be honest, I wanted to play on his team. He has a very good reputation as a coach and it would be nice to work with him. However, I had to refuse because I got a good contract in Russia and did not want to leave the Superliga, but now the circle is complete and I will be playing in Rzeszów". Resovia Rzeszów hopes that Hungarian player will help them both defend the title and improve their result in the Champions League. Besides Peter Veres, Polish champion hired also Fabian Drzyzga, Dawid Konarski and Nikolay Penchev.

bitka 'the most important part of season' i hope you mean Champions League finally, not only several matches in league for reaching final. ;) we require finally from champion of country more than being champion of country.. if you know what i mean...

very wise transfer by Resovia. of course Veres is after injury and bad season but he's still a very good player. what's more Sovia has other 3 good receivers so Veres will have a lot of time to recover and get back to his right shape and help team in important part of the season

Nobody mentioned Kaziyski/Juantorena? Btw. The movie is great :) It reminds me Dynamo with Lee and Pavlov and Veres in good shape. They have been better than Dynamo with Kurek even if he was in good form.

Well, we want or not pair italian/turkish wherever they will play Juantorena/Kaziyski unbeaten pair receivers in Europe... They know with each other very well, work together for a long time. Then long, long break and more or less equally (I'm thinking about roster clubs for next season and CL) Shivozlelez/Anderson, Achrem/Veres and Parodi/Kurek. (It looks on a paper but you know court verify, both receivers should become acquainted if no - dissapointed fail, surnames don't play only) Pity no more Wijsmans/Ngapeth, it was good combination.

Of course Achrem/Veres, but I don't think thay would be the best pair of receivers. It is rather a wish...

This isnt only your opinion :) In my opinion, Peter with Aleh Akhrem can become the best pair of receiving not only in Poland but also in Europe.
