Poland lost match winning 23:17 (Katowice 2000)

One of the most memorable games in the history of Polish volleyball. Phenomenon of Polish volleyball fans and Spodek was borning then (there was over 11000 fans on the stands). Look how spontaneous, impulsive and energetic they are. Volleyball on the highest level was something new in Poland then. Dawid Murek was full of energy then (look on his spikes from the wings). Grzegorz Kułaga with long hairs on 6:13. He was announcer coupled with Bartosz Heller. Poland was winning 23:17 in third set and they have lost it! Poland didn't fly to Sydney and Yugoslavia became ne Olympic Champion. The same history was in the semi-final of World League 2005 in Belgrade. Poland was winning 2:0 in sets and 22:17 in the third set. Ivan Miljković went to a serve and Yugoslavia won that set! They won also in tie-break and played in the final.
