@Kato Maybe it is for them. But then again, there's also rumours that there was tension between the players and the coach. Lube has yet issue any statement about this matter.

@PierreFoucault  sorry let me explain. Yesterday I saw on insta BRvolleys ( Berlin recycling volley ) got back Eder carbonera and Stecko lisinac back on their team for CL quarter finals. My question was that is a true that lisinac left TRENTINO ?? 

@Bob1988 What ?? Eder is a Berlin player so that's normal but Lisinac ?? He's the best middle blocker in the world right now, there's no way Trentino let him go. You probably got confused by the fact that Berlin plays against Trentino in CL quarterfinals.

@kaljumbos That's quite interesting matter to discuss. In 1:58:41, French player touched the net, what resulted in discussion between the referees and the Italian team. As soon as the game is over, Lube asks for challenge, and that's where the problem lies. The first referee is a a Pole, Paweł Burkiewicz, active in PlusLiga, in which you can challenge every action that happened in a single point. In the Champions League, assistant coach has to immediately push the button straight after he sees the possible error. After the game is over, it is possible to only challenge the last action, but since the last action was Artur Udrys spike, the referees should prevent Lube from challenging this. To conclude, CEV rules are dumb.

@kaljumbos What I don't understand is why the referees didn't stop the point when they saw the Challenge appearing on their tablet. It would have not given us any false hope. Tours was on a great remontada, from -6 to -2 and this stupid referee mistake ended their euphory. The match then finished in a weird atmosphere with Lube winning all the points and Tours being discouraged.

It don't think this rule is stupid, it prevents a team to wait for seeing if they win or lose the point to ask for the challenge. Also, it avoids confusion, for example on long rallies.

@PierreFoucault but lots of country uses the challenge system which can challenge about any part of the rally,and that rule works well

So i think cev rule should be changed to the common rule

@kaljumbos I don't know.. they should study the downward slides of this rule. I think that it is the same for FIVB and CEV, there's a reason.

@Bob1988 Ter Horst is not an opposite, and Atanasijevic and Vernon-Evans are not good enough for this team. They recruited Muzaj for the play-offs.

@PierreFoucault you joking right ??? Horst plaid  here opposite and Atanasijevic not  good enough for this team???? He is one of the best opposite in the world. Vernon-Evans is good too they just didn’t give him enough practice….. Leon plays opposite when he is back road not a smart thing……

@PierreFoucault seems like atanasijevic leaving this team that one of the biggest lost for Perugia after Leon leaves to dinamo Moscow. The coach doesn’t know how to build their team….. 

@Bob1988 Well, Ter Horst is an outside hitter, this is the first time in his career that he plays as an opposite, because Perugia have no choice. He is not at his right position, but still better than Atanasijevic, that is to say the Serbian's level this season, he is terrible. 10/30 in attack last round, 4/15 the round before, only 7 aces and 4 blocks in 10 matches… For a playes of his caliber this is terrible. Also, Vernon-Evans is a good player for Canadian national team but not good enough for european top volleyball. That's why they recruited Muzaj.

What are you talking about with Leon and Dynamo Moscow ??

@PierreFoucault I think he's talkning about the rumor of Leon going to Moscow. But either way I think its such a shame that Vernon is wasted on the bench like this. Weird to get Muzaj in since I thought he was also not playing that well this season (therefore losing his place in the first team)?

@J.P.  Exactly what I said when they sing Evan. Plus I watch Russian league the Muzaj not that good for this level. 

@J.P. @Bob1988 Oh, I didn't know this rumor. But Vernon-Evans is a bit like Nishida, he can be very good in national team but still not good enough for top European volleyball. He's a bit slow and not that powerful. He might be good with Canada but let's not forget that Canada national team plays tournaments without any A big team. In NORCECA Championships or Nations League all big nations are most of the time playing with their B or even C team.

Concerning Muzaj he's not the best opposite in the world, but he still will be better than the outside hitter Ter Horst, the 2020/21 Atanasijevic and the weak Vernon-Evans. He's the second opposite of Polish national team behind Kurek, that's not that bad. I can't tell what he's doing in Russia, I'm not watching all of Ural Ufa's matchs.. But last year he was very good with Surgut.

@PierreFoucault I do follow Russian league and ural somewhere in middle and the game based on muzaj 90% attack is going trough him and if he doesn’t have a good they they loose and he isn’t great this season I still this he is weaker than. Atanasijevic. I think the atanasijevic is hurt and can’t perform his best.  

@PierreFoucault Well in that case I suggest you watch some of their matches on the youtube channel TVSTART (note that in the last few matches of Ufa Muzaj has not been playing). I think Muzaj can surely do great things and very unexpected things as well, like those weird contacts he makes when he tips the ball.

Plus I dont believe that Kurek is still that good now. His phenomenal performance at the World Cup 2018 is history and I believe that Poland should just play someone else with potential and quality like Kaczmarek. 

@J.P. @Bob1988 I don't have time to watch those matches, in believe you with Muzaj's form. However, as I said earlier, I will still be better than their patch-up job with their 3rd outside hitter playing as an opposite, I think we all agree with that. There's not many world-class opposites on the market or who can easily break their contract right now. Actually the only one I can think about is Stephen Boyer.

I disagree with you on that point, I don't think Bartosz Kurek has given up the national team, he was still very good in the last international competition played (2019 World Cup, you were obviously talking about 2018 World Championships). But we can not really measure how good Kurek is right now because he plays in a weak league where it's not rare that he scores more than 40 points. The future will tell us. I love Kaczmarek though and I'd love seeing him more in national team.

@PierreFoucault I think perugia can have better options than Muzaj. If Piacenza is interested in zaytsev it means that Grozer can break his contract with them and if Perugia sign with him they´ll be unbeatable for sure. Talking about level I think Nishida is ready to play at the highest level too, he only needs to get used to that kind of matches. He already showed us how good he is playing against amazing players like Kurek, Leon, Leal, etc

@Kato We're talking about 2020/21 season, for the play-offs. It has never been question of Zaystev leaving Kemerovo or Grozer leaving Piacenza for this season.

@jais Well I dont know how the Modena fans feel about his return, but I think it will be good for the club to have him back

@J.P. Well as far as I'm concerned Modena fans are over the moon about Ngapeth - from what I could've find out they really love him. I agree that it will be uplifting to have a strong outside hitter who can finish off balls (also I hope Lavia will develop next season and become even better than he is this season - if it will go as it loooks like than he can become top 7 outside hitters in SuperLega).
