vaterni, but say it to a Ukranian or a Belorussian and he'll kick you - they usually hate being called "similar" to russians in any way) unfortunatelly
champion, I got it right)
It's just when that khtey thing came up, i remembered what i once heard and decided to refresh it, it's not really a big deal for media to talk about non-stop
i didn't know the things were that bad in bulgaria, perhaps it's just because of Kaziyskiy's mega-popularity there
khtey has a website, and there's a biography section:
http://www.khtey.ru/about_me/biografiya

extract from there:

16-year old Khtey, in order to get a russian citizenship, had to marry a certain MSU student, who he hardly knew and had only seen a couple of times. The marriage was initially fictitious, so was soon dissolved. At the moment Khtey is happily married, along with his wife he brings up 3 daughters.

interesting story but not that romantic and soapy, innit?)
only one naturalized player can play in NT, in our case this is Butko
Musersky is not naturalized, it's ok about him. He, Khtey, Pavlov were born in Ukraine, but Muserskiy and Khtey had russian sports citizenship from the very beginning, they never played for Ukraine unlike Pavlov.
there's even a kind of legend about a 17-year old Khtey marrying some Moscow girl fictitiously in order to get a citizenship ?

John17, and i believe only one of those you mentioned is going to actually play - Tetyukhin. Kazakov, Verbov and Abramov are highly likely to be cut off when it comes to the list reducing. This list is widened.
to my shame, i haven't had too much spare time recently to spend on volleyball, I only watched a few matches I could and those held here in my city. I didn't see much of Dinamo play, so I can't really say what Grankin is like now, but I can tell about Butko as he plays in my home-team. Since being defeated by Arkas and missing Divis, Lokomotiv not just plays really mildly, they have like a recession at the moment.
I actually attended Loko-Zenit semi-final yesterday (2:3), and I can say that Zenit shines with confidence unlike us: Butko, Biryukov, Sanchez look exhausted and non-motivated. And that in a decisive game!
If Grankin shows himself good in Dinamo vs Zenit in Superliga's final, I guess there's a strong possibility Alekno prefers him in WL
but we'll see
i dunno, perhaps. i think it will depend, just like the whole previous international season) though i hope Butko earned to be trusted, but who knows..
and btw you know my attitude towards grankin-always-in-starting-six thing, don't you?))
unfortunatelly, there's no sense to include Pavlov in the list when there's Butko)
vaterni, true story)
and it worked for serbians, huh?) well, it's wise of them to have noticed that. in fact, things are the same in our national league, a team is unlikely to take set if they're 4-5 points behind the rival. that's become so normal that i started to think of it as of a problem only now)

by the way Maxim Mikhaylov celebrates his birthday today! Congrats to the Champion)

concerning the other stuff...let's say what goes around comes around...)
champion, that's not quite what i'm talking about
of course, sokolov's sitting on the bench is stoychev's fault, it's obvious as he's a head coach of both teams Tsvetan plays in.
The question is, why Sokolov himself doesn't seem to try and change this situation?
speaking your words, where is his character? since he's got a talent why doesn't he do something? or he's ok about sitting his best years away? that's just the thing i don't understand, the rest is clear

...and this leads me to the conclusion: if a man can't fight for his own career, he won't fight for anything, including sports titles...
by the way, about sokolov... in 2009 he looked impressive in the NT, and after that i almost don't remember him
i mean, how long has he been sitting on the bench in trentino and then in NT? 3 years?
why doesn't he change the club? even in a weak one, he would improve more than in trento... does the contract tights him up somehow?
to my mind, the best formula is that of World Cups', because it almost excludes luck factor. And the only possible strategy is to win as much as you can. That makes a competition simple and fair.
proud, brilliant joke :]
if your question was to me, i meant Kaziysky's contract has nothing to do with Osmany's decision, but Trento's decision about Osmany. But again, Kaziyski's contract was not a major reason to my mind. It's just all those reasons joined together like parts of a puzzle and in the end everyone's got a bargain, that's it. And if this solution suits everybody, I mean Trentino, Juantorena and Zenit, why not?
No, i don't think they can't afford to have Kaziyski and Juantorena at the same time, i never said this

I just think it was a bargain, there never can be enough money, can there? i understand that their victories brought them money as well, but let's be honest, it's not football and money always tend to be spent.

an besides... I mean nobody concrete (please don't take it wrong), but when the team composition is stable and there's no new faces, the oldies may lose some part of motivation and spirit of competition. Perhaps Trento decided it would be nice to refresh the squad a little.

So everybody's happy

edit: Nightfox, following your logic: if Trentino had piles of money (as you imply) and wanted to keep Osmany, they would find a solution not to let him go.
champion, i doubt so
far more likely both Juantorena and Trentino went for money, as they spent quite a lot on Kaziyski
whatever other circumstances are, a "friendship" (if there is any) would not play a dominant role as you say
He's officially in Zenit from the next season.
Zenit've paid compensation to Trentino
what a surprise
lol

raylight,
i know that any my respond to you with cytating and stuff will be a waste of my time, so i won't care about it.
and besides, i am way too well bred to tell you what you are.

instead, i strongly recommend you to hire a psychoanalyst, very experienced and expensive one, to deal with your self-steem problems, which, as far as i can see, are very serious (evidentially, go from your childhood).

if a good specialist won't help you, you're desperate

I'd really like to say something
I had nothing against team Bulgaria,Kaziyski or Trentino before an army of moaning bulgarians appeared on this website.
they're so annoying that now every time when i read here the words "matey" or "bulgaria" i can't but try to restrain a vomitting reflex, and i bet i'm not the only one.

bulgarians, i don't know what your aim is, but do you realize you do nothing but get everyone around here against bulgaria?

PLEASE stop...volleyball-movies needs a rest from your moanings as much as Matey Kaziyski needs rest from court

cheers
Does Giselle take part in ALL the brazilian commercials? because i saw her in every single one i ever watched xD
