No, no, as far as I know Zibi has a girlfriend, though I am not sure, as I do not follow closely those kind of information about our players, just what I pick up on different volleyball sites :) But since he has still a lot to work on as an opposite and after reading your explanation of Łasko's rapid improvement I thought that maybe he has not found the one :P Of course, Bartman's lacks as opposite could also have something to do with the fact that he only started playing on this position this year :P

@Berny So you wish for Maxim to come to a tournament, where you play, with a big banner saying "Good luck, Berny!"? :) @pearl I kind of hoped that Michał would find his true love here so we could turn him to "the good side of the Force" and make him stay here for good ;P Maybe it's not too late, I am going to search for beautiful, talented Polish volleyball players and I am gonna send them to Jastrzębie :P

Concerning Michal's "explosion" as a player now he's in his thirties: I remember an interview he gave a couple of months ago I think (don't remember exactly) where he said that he has reached a self balance and confidence and also a sort of serenity that allow him to play better than he did when he was younger. But I'm pretty sure that also the fact he finally found "True love" (with his new girlfriend) has its part in the matter :D

It is intresting player, cause he was medium skilled player to ~28y.o and he has BOOM of his skills in 29-30 age! He learned straight attack and many other things!

He is the ONLY person I like from Italian NT... trully... honestly...

Berny, I've been visiting this site for a year now :P I am new to you, but you are not new to me :P It always takes me time until I finally feel I want to start writing :P And unfortunately, not going to work without a reason that my boss would understand (and for him it certainly isn't "I spent whole night watching volleyball"; weird, I know :P) is not a good idea in the time of the economic crisis :P How would I earn the money to go and watch all those volleyball games live? :P

Anyway if you search on YT you'll find a lot of videos about him (playing both with his main club "Mediolanum Milano" and Italian NT) ? Enjoy it ?

I like him too, but i do not consider him a great champion either. He can't compare to opposites like Ivan or Mikhaylov, but he is a very good player and I actually think that he is better now than he was 2-3 years ago (don't have much materials to base my opinion on, just a few games I watched from that time and then the games I watched him in this year). And the fact that he is left-handed helps him too. It's always a little bit more difficult for the opposing team if a player they need to block or whose attacks they need to defend spikes with left hand. Do you maybe have any links to games when Zorzi played? I have seen maybe 1 or 2, it's not enough to base a judgement on :)

I like Lasko...a lot! For me he's a very good opposite. If you have read some of my other comments, you already know that I've changed my mind about our NT after this WC; I mean I don't find we have great champions but Michal is an excellent player (probably the best we have). Despite that i have to say that imho the best opposite Italy has ever had was Andrea Zorzi: incomparable.

Kjeldhor - he is doing well :) The whole Jastrzebski Wegiel needs to play as many games as possible, since they are almost a new team and need to adjust to each other. I think that they will keep playing better as the season progresses. And so Michał will be better and better. BUt for now it's good for him. I'd say he's been the best player (or one of 2-3 best players) in his team. Plus, the adaption wasn't very difficult for him as he knows the language ;-)

as you said he did great job in World Cup i think that he's using his chance when the best opposites are not in their best shape his attacks are not very powerful but the most important thing is scoring points and he does it :)

Michal Lasko is very good player, but I don't count him as great for now. Let us see how 2012 will be for him I would add Nikolov and Fei to the list of great opposites Video and song excellent :)

Stnaley? in my opinion he doesn't play his best now. @Sllaveq: i think that zver wanted to show that Michal feels he is Polish, not Italian.

I wouldn't put him next to Max,Ivan and Stanley,but he really was Italy's most consistent player in the WC :) Great video,zver :)
