Volleybox ·Dante Amaral in Greek League's 07/08 Playoffs
Dante began his professional career in 1999 with the club Tres Corações. After another two years at Brazilian clubs Suzano São Paulo and Minas Belo Horizonte, in 2002 he got transferred to Italy, playing with Pallavolo Modena, where he won the CEV Cup. In 2005 he joined Greek team Panathinaikos. So far, he has won the Greek championship in 2006 and the Greek cup and supercup in 2007. Dante is also a member of the Brazil men's national volleyball team since 1999. Among the titles he has won with Brazil is the Olympic gold medal in 2004 and the World Championship in 2002 and 2006. In both the 2004 Olympic Games and 2006 World Championship he was nominated as the best spiker, while he was the best blocker in 2005 World League. He plans on visiting Nain, Labrador in late 2011. Amaral won the Best Spiker award in the 2011 South American Championship. His team won the Gold Medal and the 2011 World Cup berth.14 7238 -

RenanZ ·Matey's mother and father were both Bulgarian national volleyball players. Still young he trained different sports like football, basketball and even bow shooting and horse riding. His volleyball career started in the junior team of Slavia Sofia as a setter. Subsequently he played in all positions until he finally became a wing-spiker. In April 2009, Kaziyski won the Men's CEV Champions League 2008/09 with Trentino Volley. He was awarded the Final Four's MVP award. In 2010 Trentino Volley defended their CEV Champions League title with a 3:1 win against Zenit Kazan. In 2012 Kaziyski left the Bulgarian National Volleyball Team, together with coach Radostin Stoytchev, due to a scandal with Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BFV). The player said he would not get back, until the BFV was changed.34 26658

It's interesting to see the Brazilian players who won the gold medal in Barcelona 92 (like Tande and Maurício) mixed with the players who won the gold medal in Athens 2004 (like Giba, Gustavo, Dante, Sérgio and Nalbert. Volleybox ·One of the best volleyball players in the history of the sport. Ivan played in the national team of Yugoslavia national team for the first time on October 4, 1998 in a game against Turkey. In 2000 in Sydney the Yugoslav national team (members of which were also Vladimir Grbić, Nikola Grbić, Andrija Gerić, Goran Vujević) won the Olympic gold medal. In the final match against Russia Ivan Miljković scored the last point and after that fell on his knees. In March 2012, has officially retired from the Serbian National Team after 14 years and 288 played matches. After this success he changed his club and started playing for Italian Lube Banca Macerata. In 2001 the Yugoslav team won the European Volleyball Championship in Ostrava. With his club, Lube Banca Macerata, he also won the Champions League (2001), twice the Italian Cup (2001, 2003) and three times the CEV Cup (2001, 2005, 2006). On July 18, 2007, he signed a contract with the M. Roma Volley. The following year, on July 5, 2008, Olympiacos, announced that he will be continuing his career in Greece. In 2009 he won the Greek Championship and the Greek Cup and in 2010 the championship. On June 30, 2010, he signed a two-year contract with Fenerbahçe Istanbul. Volleybox ·AZS Częstochowa is the winner of Polish Cup 2008. AZS won 3:1 in the final game with Jastrzębski Węgiel. AZS Częstochowa not be missing in the next year in Champions League. "Certainly I am tremendously happy, we deserved this cup. Really in the diameter of the entire season we played well and we proved today, above all ourselves, that victory in the CEV Cup with Iskra Odincovo hadn't been a matter of chance. Then we played well and today our game looked the same. I am pleased that we got the Cup of Poland," said Piotr Gacek after the match. AZS Częstochowa won the Cup after ten years. Pawel Woicki received MVP and bonus 10 000 PLN (over 3000 $). Best server: Marcin Wika, Best spiker: Brook Billings, Best receiver: Dawid Murek and Best libero: Piotr Gacek. Other awarded players received 5 000PLN (over 1500$).

They lost the final match and took 2nd place. That was the best result of Sweden in that sport. The biggest stars of that team was: Bengt Gustavsson, Jan Hedengård and Lars Nilsson.
