If we talk about blocking abilities only then Simon is very far from being the best. There are plenty of better blocking MBs. But his attack is AWESOME!

Piacenza started to win when Simon started to play so we all must admit that he was doing a great job. Maybe is not better then Muserskiy but he's in Italy and play the final match (better or not u have to be the right man in the right team) IMHO the best MB is not Simon, and is not Muserskiy... he's called Podrascanin. Our technical commentator said (I don't remember if he's Lucchetta or Galli) he will show Simon videos to his child to teach how to spike and how to don't translate on the court :D @jhon17: well, Simon is still 25 y/o (Simon is an '87 and Muserskiy an '88) and u can't compare the ace/match in a different league (and in a different team, like Gavin is not the best spiker cause he score 59 point in a match)

musersky fans freak alert!!!! i have to say that maybe is true and now that simon cannot play anymore for cuba NT, musersky is the guy to block, anyway, i dont know you guys, but as a person and athtlete and i tell you this because i can talk with simon sometimes i have to say that he is excellent as person and if musersky is better than him let it be, when he score 5 aces in a game again macerata i told him " man you was the MVP" and he say me " well my team win " for me that is my MVP trophy, i dont care about the stats, this is what i do for living and i wanna win something great" i hope he made his conquest as sunday, i like juantorena and he was father recently but only god know the strugling of simon from captain and heroe to a "nobody" like all the cuban players

Muserskiy is better because : -He's Universal (dont forget London 2012) -He score almost 3/4 aces per game and he does damage in reception for the opponents. Nowadays he makes fewer and fewer mistakes -He reach the ball very very high where its very hard for other MB to block him. -He improve in many side of his game like reading the setter. -This guy is almost 220cm but dig like an 195cm player ( He've got good skills in defence) -Some people told that he can play as Outside Hitter ( I mean not in main receiver) because on jump serve he have good reception not really on float serve but he can get a little area in Reception . -Last but not the least he is only 24 y/o..

come on ray, dont be jealous, some day todorov will eat real food and he will get some weight XD, musersky base is game in his tall, but he is not more stronger than simon, i think in MB nobody has more dangerous attack i mean this is his firtst season as a pro and he can be champion on sunday so be quiet and shut up that mouth

I don't think that Simon is stronger than Muserskiy. The two are on the top overall. Bulgaria has probably he best blocker as blocking, but he is fragile

for me he is also the best middle-blocker, fantastic spike, service and great block, what more you need ? ;)

I think he's the best middle-blocker in the world right now. He has everything to be the best on this position :)
