Trentino Volley finishes the year 2012 in style, wining the Italian Cup after a great match against Lube Banca Macerata. MVP of match was Raphael Vieira de Oliveira.
Italian Champion had many problems to receive strong services made by Emanuele Birarelli. Dragan Travica didn’t really handle the pressure. After the match the coach of Trentino Volley: Radostin Stoychev said: "We deserved this success, but we played two games in one match. In the first part we were almost perfect, playing volleyball of the highest level, in the second part of the match our efficiency decreased, but we did not loss our character. Raphael MVP? I’m not surprised, he is often among the best players on the court".

I''m glad Uchikov maneged to get into the match very well, Kaziyski and Zaytsev were awesome, Henno and Raphael too... that's why I love to watch Trento vs Macerata! Aaand you can't deny Rado prepared the match perfectly, what he didn't expect in my opinion was the change of Starovic with Kooy and the great performance by Kooy. Anyway I'm happy to see Trentino with the cup!

True! It was a BIG match! It was way wetter than I expected. I have never seen Kaziyski playing THIS smart as he did, he has always been a clever player but this was new, Raphael did great work. Henno was spetacular in defence, and Zaytsev's serves were deadly.
BTW Stokr's injury isn't very serius, it could not have been very bad becouse he just stepped wrong nopthing else :)

I love this match, it was very entertaining! I loved how Zaytev put the team on his back and he led them to win the third set. Also, the 3 meter spike from mitar djuric. But who can forget the game winning serve of Matey, when the ball hit the net and trickled to the other side!
P.S. I hope Stokr heals quickly!
