Great match at the beggining!
Poles has good reception - which always was our weakness. If we keep on attacking as we did in match against Serbia, and also made a little less mistakes - we will be at the podium in the end.

@Black_Magic:
I think Poland has chances to win a medal, even without Kurek. Antiga is unexperienced, but not stupid trainer. He wouldn't be risking leaving Kurek home if he didn't have a good reason or purpose ahead.
What's Polands' strength? I think the equal level of each player form 14. We have a team. I don't know if for example USA can afford that.
Poland - Serbia 3:1
Venezuela - Argentina 1:3
Cameroon - Australia 0:3

Group B:
Brazil - Germany 2:3
Finland - Cuba 3:1
South Korea - Tunisia 3:1

Pool composition is not equal - as we all know.
Pool D is unbelievable - I have know idea who's gonna qualify to next round. Unfortunatelly, they are going to meet Poland there (because I can't imagine they don't advance from their group). It's going to be tough tournament for that part of drawing table - every single match can decide whether or not team qualify for final round.
On the other side - I think easy way for both favorites: Brazil and Russians to get to F6 (pool G and H), and I think the third team will be Germany.
Anyway - it will be great time for us in Poland, especially that I live in Katowice, where final round will be held. I can't wait for that ?.
If Russia's middle-blockers keep on atacking. serving, blocking as in matches with Poland and US, they will fight on sunday for gold medal. But personally, I'll keep my fingers crossed for Bulgarians. They are the biggest surprise for me. I don't like the way they behave on court, but after all this problems with federation, absence of Kazynski and Zhekov - they gained my respect.
In second semi I'd simply like to see a good match - 5 sets, good level of attack, block, dig. Whoever wins it won't be surprise.

And I'm wondering who's gonna set balls to him...
I wanna see his spikes in "best spike contest"!!!
Beside - Iran could win a place in a battle with Australia, but they lost.
Looks like in group A everething is clear opposite to group B. It will be a great tournament.

BTW. It is great that we'll be able to see really the bests teams on earth - 9 of them for sure. I'll add only France, Cuba and maybe Czech Republic instead of Gr. Britain, Tunisia, Australia.
It's sad, that such a things are happening in Bulgaria, especially 1,5 mouth before Olympics. The President of bulgarian federation should definitely leave his position - it's all for wellness of bulgarian volleyball. It would be the proof, that he loves this sport, not only money he earns on it...

No surpise. Cangrats for Argentina.
I wonder if Serbia will qualify to the Olympics. They seem to have an easy way in Tokyo, but with their shape it's not gonna be so quick.
Any news about De Cecco's decision? Skra or Piazenza or smth else?
Rusek - Jastrzebski Wegiel's libero ?.
K and U S E ?
Can U see the ball? Resovia is on the way to championship :D. It would be huge surprise 4 all :D
