@byruss Definitely Coach Manabe's choice. Tamaki and Nanami is excellent, but I think Momii is better than Miyashita.

@slintyen Would it be possible to change the teams to all senior-level? When I click edit in the team page, I cannot find the option to change the age category.

@pedeshtrian Is it also possible to alter the tournament ratio for the OQTs?

All of the olympic qualification tournaments, with the exception of the European one, has no tournament ratio/ranks. I am aware that this value is set by a global administrator and is a measure of prestige. I think that the World OQT could be raised at a similar level as the European one, as strong teams from worldwide come to participate.

@pedeshtrian Thank you! This problem had been bugging me for the past few weeks, so it's great to see the problem resolved. Much thanks

@Sherlock I have edited the awards section for The Olympics Qualifications 2016, but I don't have the authority to edit the matches, teams, or date of the tournament. How can this be solved?

@sitenoise I understand what you are saying. I am aware that the Japanese League awards both Best Team and Statistical Winners, which actually makes it a lot more simple because they choose a player for every available spot.

However, FIVB tournaments and most leagues (Turkey, Italy, China, Korea, etc) have changed their awarding system from statistical winners to positional awards starting from 2014, so I see a problem when people write the same player down twice when clearly positional awards weren't given back then.

@Sherlock I understand. I've seen that in multiple tournament pages, where random names of players are added for awards. I also see cases where the same player is listed twice, for instance as best receiver/best OH and best spiker/best OP. Since the best team awards were given out by FIVB starting from 2013~2014, I think it's best if such awards are deleted for tournaments held before then unless there is specific evidence proving otherwise.

I also suggest that maybe there should be a process in which we can check proof for player awards, or perhaps require a link for evidence even when adding.

@Sherlock Is the administrator the only person that can edit this? Only the tournament information needs to be swapped.

@Eylull Did Terzic really say that? I don't understand, Boskovic already renewed her deal with Eczacibasi, and she will never transfer to another Turkish team. I see no reason for Terzic to refuse Egonu as first choice??

Are there any more transfer rumors for IGOR? If Smarzek is leaving to Chemik, perhaps Karakurt IS really going to Italy. I'm assuming foreign players Hancock, Herbots, Daalderop is all leaving except Washington, yet there is not that many rumours for IGOR despite this. I am curious how Lavarini will make up the squad for the next season.

@sitenoise Ah, I understand. I was wondering if I was missing something, but I guess that it is systematically difficult at to solve this problem at the moment.

Adding MIP to Award List? 3 years ago +1

@sitenoise @Volleybox apologies for the delayed reply. Best newcomer in the Korean V-League is called@sitenoise  ‘신인선수상’ and is shown on the website. The best newcomer for 2019-2020 was Park Hyeon-ju from Heungkuk Life. https://www.kovo.co.kr/stats/44100_19-20_vleague-award.asp

Lyubov Shaskova is an amazing player, all-rounded and able in all positions. She is definitely a player to remember!

@sitenoise This seems like a good option. I brought up MIP because that is the name used in Korean tournaments, but is the same concept as the Fighting Spirit Award in Japan. If it is complicated to differentiate them, it seems good to me to write it as Fighting Spirit - MIP.

@Sherlock thank you for this! sorry for all the inconvenience.

@Sherlock It's the same thing for every season!

@HappyWithVolleyball Ah yes, I agree! Best Newcomer is an important award in Asian Leagues.

@Sherlock Because KOVO has explicitly stated there is no winning team for the season, I think it should be considered as cancelled.
