It's a good analysis. I can't understand Kazan's choice to have recruited Sokolov. Mikhaylov plays badly in the position of wing spiker as explained in the video.
This year, and with the 2 receivers system, Ngapeth has to take a lot more receptions and digs than he used to do, in order to cover Mikhaylov and Golubev. So his attacking and offensive game is less effective than usual. He also has a bit a weight to lose.
Mikhaylov has problems in reception and also in attack with 2 or 3 blockers, he has difficulties to finish the point. His substitute Voronkov is almost at the same level I think.
Golubev is not a bad libero but he has neither the talent and the aura that Verbov had.

@Volleybox Leon wasn't there the last season, they still reached the finals in the domestic league and the Champions League. Of course, he is a monster, but I really believe that Mikhaylov playing as a receiver is not a wise move as I explained in the video. Maybe they wanted to play him and Poletaev simultaneously in the national team too... It doesn't work and I have huge doubts that this can work at all.
