It's more than that. GIBA already gave him self too much to the national team, more than necessary. He is a reference not just in Volleyball, but into the sports as a whole idea.

Toma ai, Murilo MVP, mais do que merecido. E fazer isto em uma seleção que tem Dante, Giba e entre outros, não é fácil não. Sem contar também às outras seleções, como Russia, Serbia, Polonia, Itália e CUBA, que também mostraram (e revelaram) talentos em potencial !!!

Congratulations to Murilo and also to Brazil. They are a very impressive team. Looking at individuals prizes I would say that, in a near future, Russia will be dominating nation in volleyball again. They have several great players, i think they need only improve their self confidence in game, and this comes with the time. Maybe already in WC10 we will see this or maybe in OG12 in London. Brazil will continue a strong team, but I think others teams will split the titles with the canarinhos (mainly Russia, Cuba, Poland, USA and/or Bulgaria).

Congrats to Murilo, just named Most Valuable Player.

vincentpouss They come back to play in brazil because here is their home. It doesn't matter how good a club offers a chance to an foreign player, he does not belong to there. And it is curious that even for us in Brazil is a little bit difficult to watch the matches, as the Footbal reigns in the Broadcastings !!!!

One of my favorite players.. I am glad he is finding playtime on the starting lineup though I know its because Giba is not at full health. But he still does a great job leading the best team in the world, and that can't be forgotten, even if he ends up on the bench.

What a nice movie! Great song, great actions and great player! This guy always been in the shadow of Giba and Dante but i think it was a good thing because he trained with the best players to become an important player for his team. The only thing i hate about brazilian player is the fact that a lot of them (Giba, Murilo, Ricardo, etc.) now play in their national championship so we can't see them a lot. Why they do this?

A great movie for a great player. I just love to watch brazil play, for me Volleyball = Brazil. Their style of play is just amazing to watch and they have so many exciting players to watch! I hope they continue to perform so admirably in every international events!

Cholera, założyłem wczoraj konto i już się do niego dobrali. Moje wcześniejsze konto też jest zawieszone,nie mogę na nie wchodzić ale filmiki działają. Wrzucę to na Vimeo i będzie działać. Dziwne,usunąłem ten film na youtubie i zaczął działać. Tak czy siak wrzucę na Vimeo.

No JRios, I meant that he was 'least expressive', that he doesn't show his emotions while playing comparing to the other Brazilian players like Giba, Sergio etc. And I agree with you that they have many talents and they won't fall from the top in a closer future.

Murilo to znakomity skrzydłowy, mimo iż nie jest zbyt wysoki, często atakuje nad blokiem, co oznacza ,że zasięg jest wykorzystany w pełni.

I do not know if you know but playing for Trentino Vissotto was Champions League x2 (elected MVP in one of it), Fivb World Club Champion, Italian cup champ, WL09 champion, WGCCP09 champion, Junior & Boys World Championship champion. If you look at Lucas Saatkamp, Bruno Rezende, Maurício Silva (spiker) you will found great players too. Maurício was MVP of last Junior World Championships 2009 playing agaisnt Cuba (with Leon Wilfredo and Rolando Cepeda on the court), Brazil won per 4th time Junior World Championship. So, if I understood your comment I must disagree of you, Brazil still has impressive players formed on early divisions of volleyball. Probably we will not see them wining all kind of tournments as did generation of Giba, Sérgio, Dante, Ricardo, and so on. For me Simon Roberlandy will be MVP of WL'10.

Ohhhh Man. Roninho, thanks for this video about this fantastic player. He is damn good in all aspects. Hitting, defending, digging, serving, and even setting when necessary, doesn't matter, he may bot be the #1 in the world, but surelly is the #2 or the #3. And a true professional person, extremelly focussed in the game. That's I love this boy !!!

Cenię tego zawodnika za umiejętności, ale nigdy za nim nie przepadałem... Rzekłbym nawet, iż go nie lubię... I chyba nawet nie potrafię tego racjonalnie wytłumaczyć. Nie podoba mi się między innymi jego zachowanie na boisku (tak jak Giby zresztą). Staram się jednak być obiektywny i muszę stwierdzić, że jest chyba jednym z najlepszych skrzydłowych pod względem gry w bloku, a poza tym wykorzystuje do maksimum swój zasięg, a to się chwali :)

He is great, and currently he is one of the best on his position. I think he is the least expressive player in Brazilian Team, not a type of leader but he does his job more than well.

Moim zdaniem do jeden z lepszych przyjmujących świata, jego przyjęcie naprawde nie pozostawia nic do życzenia. Szkoda że nie gra w żadnym europejskim klubie no ale to już chyba jego wybór. Technicznie wyszkolony bardzo dobrze, nie ściąga piłki za często. Zgadzam się z Drewsonem w zupełności ;)

One of my favourite players, and he gives me hope as he isn't among the tallest wing-spikers(he is as tall as me) :)

He is one of the greatest for Brazil in many aspects of the game, but is not my favorite since he is not very effective on spiking and most of the time - not attractive as Kaziyski or Leon in that sense (he is attractive for the defense lovers, I am on the spikers side)
