@AleNickel that system was really good in 2009. Poland was played with younsters in WL (Kurek, Ruciak etc.). Wlazły, Winiarski, Świderski were watching this games on tv?...Then we had Eurovolley with important players who had injuries so our team was playing with this same group of players like in WL and we WON. Without WL experience they didn't won that championship I suppose
Wlazly is definitely an amazing player, just like other Polish seniors, but I think it was a good decision to play with the youngsters. I have to admit that the result it's a bit tricky and maybe disappointing, but you have to start once this thing. the one who will gain from this is the Polish NT, I'm sure they'll be super ok the next year. there's an olympiad ahead, world championships to follow, so the results will be seen in the long run
Wlazly would not help with his knee, because he wouldn't play in 100%. In my opinion we should focus on players we have and leave those 'if's', because you never know how NT would play with Wlazly, Guma or Kowalski against Brazil.
Zyta- but you see how we were close to winning this year with Brazil. Bartman has not played well in those matches. Wlazły is better than Bartman in every element and Wlazły makes a difference. You're right. With Wlazly also losing all matches with Brazil. Our best players were playing with Brazil worse than the young players. This year it was close but we missed the regular attacker.
In this match, Poland was just no chance. But the 3 previous matches were aligned and at least one Poland should win. I think that if Wlazly played for Bartman and Poland could win.
...just like on WC 2006, 2010, Beijing 2008. Wlazly is definitely necessary to win with Brazil.
