proud ·Matey's mother and father were both Bulgarian national volleyball players. Still young he trained different sports like football, basketball and even bow shooting and horse riding. His volleyball career started in the junior team of Slavia Sofia as a setter. Subsequently he played in all positions until he finally became a wing-spiker. In April 2009, Kaziyski won the Men's CEV Champions League 2008/09 with Trentino Volley. He was awarded the Final Four's MVP award. In 2010 Trentino Volley defended their CEV Champions League title with a 3:1 win against Zenit Kazan. In 2012 Kaziyski left the Bulgarian National Volleyball Team, together with coach Radostin Stoytchev, due to a scandal with Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BFV). The player said he would not get back, until the BFV was changed.12 7461

Trentino Volley - Skra Bełchatów
Jacek Nawrocki (coach of Skra) said: "It was our worst match. The tournament was very long and it was difficult to stay focused throughout. The Italians played very well at all positions. Technically, Trentino displayed a far superior game. We just could not do anything to stop them." Skra Bełchatów becomes the first Polish club to be in the podium of the prestigious championship that returned back to action after 17 years gaining the silver Medals. Radostin Stoytchev on the press conference said: "I’d expected the match to last longer. We had studied the video footage of Bełchatów and prepared our game plan to neutralize Kurek and Antiga. After the first set, we gained total control of the match and easily clinched the title." Matey Kaziyski said: “It was a very important tournament for us and we were very keen to emerge as champions here. The 1992 Men's Olympic Volleyball Tournament was the 8th edition of the event, organized by the world's governing body, the FIVB in conjunction with the IOC. It was held in Barcelona, Spain from 26 July to 9 August 1992. The finals, at Barcelona’s renowned "Palau Sant Jordi", were quite a spectacle according to the 1992 Official Olympic Report, especially the men’s: "The rhythm of the Brazilian victories swelled the ranks of their supporters, clearly identifiable by the green of their shirts". The supporters of the Dutch team, in their fluorescent orange shirts, also contributed to the atmosphere. The final of the men's competition between these two countries was therefore an extraordinary exciting.

Osmany Juantorena had only 20 years old ;-) See amazing spike by Sergey Baranov on 20:33 (he won award "the best spike without ball's"). Copra Piacenza - Bre Banca Cuneo (full match)
Great battle between Russian and Italian teams (semi-final of CEV Cup 2009/10). Bre Banca Cuneo won all sets. MVP of match was Wout Wijsmans. Belgian player scored 16 points (50% in attack). His team was very effective (57% all players in attack). Only best players play there: Nikola Grbić, Hubert Henno, Vladimir Nikolov. Bre Banca Cuneo dominate in CEV Cup 2009/10.
