Ok, it's sure, Parodi will play in Macerata. He wrote a (very nice) letter to Cuneo and it's quite obvious that he didn't want to go, but Lannutti selll him when Giuliani decided to change.

ah, still about Cuneo, some voices about a possible transfer of Sala from Trento to Cuneo, because Trento will probably have a foreign MB (Djuric is the most proably one) to play with Birarelli considering that Juantorena is playing as italian; Cuneo, on his side, if will chose a foreign OH to replace Parodi will need two italian MB (but actually they have Mastrangelo and Fortunato...).

You can read in Osmany Juantorena’s eyes the stron wish of Cuba, the island where he was born 25 years ago.
OH with Itas Diatec Trentino since two season ago, twice world and europe champion, to Fidel Castro’s governament he is a politic dissident. An history similar, in a certain way, to the one of his connational Taismary Aguero, another volleyball player.
Osmany pays the (succesfull) attempt of wanting to be a professional sportsman. And it was for achieving this dream that in 2004 he moved to Russia, and then he came in Trento in 2006. This was considered, in Cuba, as an escape, but actually he never escaped from the country that is one of the last stronghold of comunism.

Giuliani wrote an open letter where he says good bye to cuneo and thanks the supporter and the society, and he is sorry because actually at the beginning he signed to stay also next year.
Voices about the fact that is Cuneo that decided to sell Parodi against his wishes, because if after next year he will change team, they won't have any money. I don't know if it's true, but may be the true is in the middle: parodi likes to have Giuliani as coach and macerata is a very good team (so is not a huge sacrifice go there), and cuneo may be prefer him to go now (so they earn smth) than next year free.

btw, I think that all started form Giuliani that decided to leave: otherwise probably they only have to change the opposite (nikolov decided to change team after Italian Cup)

yes I don't think juantorena wishes to play in italian NT. But I really hope Cuba will let him play in Cuban NT for the olympics while he is playing in Trento, because he really deserve it.

that's a pity that Cupko left MRoma, but of course playing in Skra is a big opportunity for him, I hope he can use it=)
