He is the greatest star of Czech volleyball. Štokr was among the best spikers in the Russian league in previous two season while wearing the jersey of Dynamo Krasnodar. KEPCO Vixtorm, the team sponsored by the Korean Electric Power Company, found the replacement for the Greek Mitar Djurić in Russia. In the first week of the World League, Stokr was in Korea with the Czech NT where he played the double clash against the home team. KEPCO management took the opportunity to finalize the negotiations with Jan Štokr.

The game lasted just 80 minutes! Team from Trentinio played definitely the better than Piacenza. Amazing duel on the net between Osmany Juantorena (17 points and MVP of match) and Alessandro Fei (14 points). They played nice game. In Piacenza the team coached by Alberto Giuliani's did not handle strong serves of the hosts. They scored 9 aces, including Cuban player: Juantorena 4 points. Eventually the trio Juantorena - Raphael De Oliveira - Kaziyski led their team to the victory. Look at great atmosphere at the hall. Jan Stokr tried to counterattack from really uncomfortable position. Here's the result. Despite this spike he played nice in that match. He had 53% efficiency in attack (10/19) and blocked twice. Trentino won once again with Cuneo and thanks to the extra victory (for the result from regular season) they advanced to the final. They will play in the final of Serie A for the sixth time in a row. Trentino won both of matches against Lube in regular season (first won 3:2). Thanks to that victory Trentino is current leader in the table. MVP award received Czech Jan Stokr (19 points and 67% in attack). He scored 256 points in 17 matches. "Victory with Lube Banca in their area never was the easiest of tasks. Three-time defending champions Trentino Volley of Italy earned the chance to defend their crown at the FIVB Club World Championship after demolishing Zenit Kazan of Russia in three straight sets... Jan Stokr played also for Italian teams like: Cagliari Volley (2005-06) and Perugia Volley (2006-2010). In season 2009/10 his team won Challenge Cup. After amazing season 2009/10, he signed contract with Trentino Volley. He won many titles with Trentino Volley like Italian Champion, Italian Cup, SuperCup and Champions League Champion. "Trentino is the best team in the world for me. Playing and training with such players as Kaziyski or Juantorena helps me so much. I am also glad with training with Radostin Stoychev". Before final matches of Serie A 2012/13 it was sure that he will leave Trento. For this reason he wanted so much to leave Italy wth scudetto.
